Emotional support animals (ESA) are companion animals that provide emotional support to an individual with a psychological diagnosis (diagnostic criteria of DSM V). ESA's do not require specific training to perform specific tasks and are NOT considered service animals. ESA's are defined and protected by the Federal Fair Housing Act. Some airlines allow accommodations for ESA's and some do not. Emotional support animals can be dogs, cats, or any other animal that provide emotional support to their owner.
This assessment is required to be completed annually to confirm the need for an emotional support animal and confirm the psychological diagnosis of the animal owner.
On the second appointment the owner will bring their animal with them into the office for our clinician to observe and document the interaction of the owner with their animal.
Emotional Support Animal Documents
The documents include a letter on agency letterhead affirming the need for an ESA and that criteria has been met according to the federal and state laws governing ESA qualification. Also included is an animal certificate with the descriptive information and photo of your animal.

"...is an amazing therapist. She's incredible at helping you work through social concerns and job related stresses. I feel better after working with her."
"I’m about 2 years “post therapy” and I’m thriving due to Kasia. She gave me the tools and the best perspective to live life to the fullest. I don’t feel like I’m surviving life but living it. I have been to a few therapist and her way is the most effective, just trust the process."
"We would love to have our kid continue working with you as you have really helped him to open up which he has not done with anyone else."
